likes and confusion

                                                            

Well, I have lots of little thoughts today...so will start with my likes (nice how that has become a desriptor of all things good/approved of)
Like:
northwest fall weather..I have always been a fan of storms, and boy are we getting some!

104.5 FM...now that D is singing all the words to all the songs, this station rocks!

my van...there is a certian something that we have together, best vehicle EVER!

my wool haflinger clogs...they are warm and dry and go with everything!

when my gluten free meals taste like I expect them too...had a GREAT beef stroganoff last night..GF!

herbal medicine...I am making the effort to work toward a certificate.  Moving toward medicine I can feel good about for myself, my family and the women who trust my opinion!

Things that confuse me:

Why does the NW weather confuse people?  I swear, bring on the first raging fall storm and people are wandering around like Jimi's Purple Haze just hit them over the head.  Driving around is dangerous, walking around is frustrating and in general people freak out!

I don't want to get political on my blog...too trendy, but for heaven's sake people, let's stop the riduculous campaigning and general "put-down"ing of others.  Not cool.

The new healthcare plan.  Just in general.

Children's shoe sizes. 

Why I can tell you any number of things about the human body and it's processes, but I cannot remember how many letters there are in the alphabet.

And my favorite of all favorites:

I taught D to sew this weekend!!! I gave her a piece of muslin in a hoop and some yarn on a blunt needle, and she sewed this awesome pattern.  I then whipped it into a little pillow that she calls her napping pillow.  I will have this forever.  And ever.  She is the coolest person I know!
