It has been an interesting few week's at the W household! We went to E. Washington to see our great friend Neil who graciously hosted us. He fed us woodfired pizzas from his little beehive oven, and he shared his yard and porch and farm with us. Being (currently) cityfolk, this is soooo important to us. D really really loved the kitty Otto, and running wild in the yard. She did have a pretty serious finger burn, but with in the hour and thanks to Neil's elmo band-aid, all was right in a short time.
Got home, only to find out my dad was coming for an impromptu visit!! Love that! He is a world traveller these days, and to get some of his time means the world to me. And D loves the attention!
And...to top it all off, our nanny started this week. Shewwhhh.
I need a bitter lemon vodka drink in a comfy chair!
